Memorial Health Foundation: $50,000
Grant funds will be used toward Memorial Children's Hospital Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) expansion project.
 
LGBTQ Resource Center of Michiana: $29,250
Grant funds will help support expansion and new programming with three main program components: children and teens; families and parents; and diversity trainings for local businesses and non-profit organizations.
 
South Bend Community School Corporation: $25,000
SBCSC will use funds to launch a one-to-one program intended to personalize the learning process for the 18,000 students in the corporation. Grant funds will help initiate the program, which will entail the hiring of the One-To-One Institute as a project partner and acquiring the learning management system for the student curriculum.
 
South Bend Heritage Foundation: $20,000
Grant funds will be used to help create a park near the Lincoln Park Neighborhood. The 0.6-acre park will be immediately south of the Colfax Cultural Center along Cottage Grove Avenue, in close proximity to South Bend Mutual Homes as well as the Charles Martin Youth Center.

Beacon Resource Center: $15,000
The Beacon currently facilitates shared community space for 12+ partner organizations. They plan to expand and sustain the organization’s administrative and development capacity.
 
Heartland Alliance's National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC): $15,000
Heartland Alliance's NIJC Indiana satellite office addresses the severe gap in legal services faced by low-income immigrants in Northern Indiana who need assistance with asylum, deportation defense, or other complex immigration matters. Grant funds will be used to increase capacity to provide direct legal representation, advocacy, and community education in St. Joseph County.
 
Reading for Life: $15,000
Reading for Life will use funds to proactively support their volunteer mentors in some of the tough situations they face as group leaders by establishing a continuing education video reference library.
 
YMCA of Michiana: $15,000
Funds will be used for expansion of the YMCA’s LIVESTRONG program at their new Mishawaka location, the Edison Lakes Family YMCA. LIVESTRONG is a twelve-week exercise based program for adult cancer survivors.
