Community Foundation Performing Arts Series: Lifting Our Voices, a Celebration of African American Music and Dance

This third event in the FREE Community Foundation Performing Arts Series includes a community choir performing spiritual and gospel selections, led by Dr. Marvin Curtis and Turrell O’Neal; a quintet from the South Bend Symphony Orchestra performing works by African American composers, and the UZIMA dance troupe. WUBS 89.7 FM is our broadcast partner for this performance, and will be covering the event from Potawatomi Park. Bring a lawnchair or a blanket for seating; some fixed seating is available near the stage. In case of rain, updates will be posted here on Facebook or at www.cfsjc.org.
