Foundation Announces 2026 Performing Arts Series

Two free performances scheduled this August at Potawatomi Park

This August, the Community Foundation’s Performing Arts Series brings two free outdoor performances to the Chris Wilson Pavilion – an evening of dance and an evening of classical music, both free and open to all.

Summer has a way of slowing things down just enough. Pack your lawn chairs, your favorite snacks and drinks, and settle in for two nights you won’t want to miss.

On August 8 at 7:00 pm, Southold Dance Theater takes the stage with a showcase featuring students in the summer intensive program. Expect a mix of jazz, modern, neoclassical, and classical ballet.

Then on August 16 at 6:00 pm, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra returns for a program featuring beloved Broadway favorites, movie music, classic orchestral pieces, and Americana.

As part of the evening of music, the Symphony will also present the Chris Wilson Playalong Concert, where musicians from across Michiana are invited to join in to make the music happen.

More details about the Playalong, along with required rehearsal dates, are available at SouthBendSymphony.org.
