Community Foundation Announces Performing Arts Series
Join Southold Dance Theater and the South Bend Symphony Orchestra at the Chris Wilson Pavilion
The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County is thrilled to announce the return of its summer Performing Arts Series with two events this August at the Chris Wilson Pavilion. There’s no better way to wind down a perfect summer evening than with art, music, and good friends out on the lawn.
Join Southold Dance Theater at the Pavilion on August 3 at 7:00pm.
Southold Dance Theater is a nationally recognized, pre-professional dance company currently entering its 45th season. Under the direction of the professional staff, dancers strive to achieve mastery of technique and performance. Many dancers successfully audition for some of the nation’s most prestigious dance institutions. Several have gone on to professional dance careers. As the resident dance company at the Morris Performing Arts Center, Southold enriches its audience with high standards of performance.
Playalong with the Symphony on August 18 at 6:00pm.
The South Bend Symphony Orchestra and the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County present the Chris Wilson Playalong Concert, “The Last Night of Proms”, on Sunday, August 18 at 6 p.m. at Chris Wilson Pavilion at South Bend’s Potawatomi Park.
To participate in this free event, community musicians must commit to two mandatory rehearsals. Learn more >>
