Community Foundation Awards FY2021 IAC Regional Arts Grants

Because of the risks presented by the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County and the South Bend Symphony Orchestra have made a joint decision to cancel the August 29 concert planned for the Community Foundation Performing Arts Series at the Chris Wilson Pavilion in Potawatomi Park.

“We’d love to be able to go forward with the concert as usual,” says Laura Moran Walton, director of public relations and communication for the Community Foundation and coordinator of the annual six-event series, “but we’re concerned about the safety of the Symphony’s musicians and that of our audience members. We always draw a big crowd for this particular concert, and sadly, this simply isn’t a good time for big crowds.”
