Imagination Library 2023 Photo Contest
The deadline to enter our 2023 Imagination Library Photo Contest has now passed. But stay tuned to find out which ten photos have won special recognition! Two winners will be announced each day beginning on Monday, February 27, on the Community Foundation’s Facebook page and Instagram, and ending on Friday, March 3. Each winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
For the photo to be a valid entry, the child or children pictured must be enrolled in the Imagination Library program in St. Joseph County, IN, at the time of submission.
By entering this contest, participants give permission to the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County to publish their submitted photo(s) to promote the Imagination Library program in its communications vehicles, including its website, social media platforms, printed publications, and other media.
What is the Imagination Library? Through this remarkable early childhood literacy program, any child who lives in St. Joseph County can receive a FREE, new, age-appropriate book by mail once a month, from birth until they turn five—no strings attached!
Register your child online here! Once a child is registered, he or she will receive the first Imagination Library book within seven to nine weeks through the US mail. After that, a book will arrive every month until the child’s fifth birthday, when he or she “graduates” from the program. Nearly 10,000 children are currently enrolled in this program in St. Joseph County—more than one out of every two eligible children!
The Community Foundation thanks the sponsors of this program, including Nancy S. Rosenstock, Jon & Sonja Laidig Foundation, Wiekamp Foundation/Julie & Jim Schwartz, William & Kathryn Shields Fund, Frank Family Fund, Charles and Anne Hillman Family, University of Notre Dame, African American Community Fund, Linda and Bipin Doshi Family, James M. & Marjorie H.
