Imagination Library Photo Contest

Show Us Your Child Enjoying Imagination Library Books!

The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County invites families of children who are enrolled in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in St. Joseph County to enter our 2019 Imagination Library Photo Contest. One winner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card, and two runner-ups will each receive a $50 Amazon gift card.

To enter, send a photo (preferably 1 MB or larger) of your enrolled child or children enjoying their Imagination Library books to imaginationlibrary@cfsjc.org with “Photo Contest” in the subject line. Please include your name, your child’s name, your mailing address, and a photo caption.

Entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm EST on Thursday, February 14. Winners will be announced on Monday, February 18, on the Community Foundation’s Facebook page. For the photo to be a valid entry, the child or children pictured must be enrolled in the Imagination Library program in St. Joseph County, IN, at the time of submission.

By entering this contest, participants give permission to the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County to publish their submitted photo(s) to promote the Imagination Library program in its communications vehicles, including its website, social media platforms, printed publications, and other media.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What is the Imagination Library? Through this remarkable early childhood literacy program, any child who lives in St. Joseph County can receive a FREE, new, age-appropriate book by mail once a month, from birth until they turn five—no strings attached!

There are two ways to register a child for the Imagination Library in St. Joseph County:

  1. Online at http://www.cfsjc.org/imaginationlibrary or
  2. by filling out a paper registration form, available at any library in St. Joseph County

Once a child is registered, he or she will receive the first Imagination Library book within seven to nine weeks through the US mail. After that, a book will arrive every month until the child’s fifth birthday, when he or she “graduates” from the program. Since the program began in May 2018, more than 7,750 children in St. Joseph County have enrolled in this free program.
