Joan Japa Vujovich Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY:

Student must be a resident of St. Joseph County who graduates from Riley High
School in South Bend, Indiana. Additionally, student must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA (on 4-point scale or equivalent) and plan to attend an accredited 2-or 4-year public or private
institution of higher learning to pursue a full-time course of study. Preference shall be given to students engaged in the musical arts.

AWARD:

This scholarship will provide $ 1,000 annually, payable at $500 per semester towards
tuition and required fees. This scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters. Renewal will be based on annual review of student progress towards their degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. One new award will be given every four years.

PROCESS:

An eligible student will be chosen based on applications to the Lilly Endowment
Community Scholarship. A top candidate who did not receive a Lilly Scholarship and who meets the above eligibility criteria will be selected as the Joan Japa Vujovich Scholarship recipient. If criteria are too selective, student will be chosen who most closely matches the criteria.
