More Students Are Eligible Than Ever Before!
21st Century Scholar Success Initiative breaks records all over again

School counselors have a lot on their plates, so whenever we can, we’re thrilled to be able to help them – and their students – succeed.
That’s what happens during ScholarTrack labs in schools across St. Joseph County. The Foundation’s staff team, along with 21st Century Scholar Success Fellows and community partners, jump into auditoriums and lunchrooms to provide support, answer questions, and help more students complete more of the steps that stand between them and a college scholarship.
It’s a win for school counselors across the county who can cross one more item off of their lists. It’s a win for students who are realizing that their college dreams can become realities. And the best part is that this school year, we’re helping more students than ever before.
By the end of the 2024-2025 school year, a record 423 students had completed all twelve program steps. This school year, that number has already been eclipsed, and more St. Joseph County graduates will have access to 21st Century Scholarships than in any cohort before them.
That means more students with college educations and degrees. It means more nurses, teachers, and professionals. Down the road, it means more adults with more capacity to give back to the communities that raised them, because when more students earn scholarships, we all win.
