NC100BW South Bend Area Chapter Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY:

• Be a woman of African American descent
• Graduate of a South Bend area (St. Joseph County, IN) high school
• Possess a minimum high school GPA of 2.5
• Pursue a degree through a full-time baccalaureate course of study at IUSB
• Preference given to students pursuing degrees related to communication and journalism
• Renewal students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

AWARD:

• Up to $1,000 per year (paid $500 per semester) for tuition and fees
• Award is renewable up to three years of additional full-time undergraduate study

NUMBER:

• One new award is given when the current scholar is no longer eligible or graduates

DEADLINE:

• Determined by the IUSB Office of Student Scholarships but typically in March each year. Students must complete IUSB’s Online Scholarship Application and the FAFSA.
