As part of its 2025 fall grants cycle, the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County has awarded $803,500 in Special Project Grants to Dismas House, Ronald McDonald House, Milkweed Gardens, and more.

HealthLinc Celebrates Mishawaka Expansion
Supported by a $250,000 Special Project grant, the expansion creates dedicated space for women's health, behavioral health, chiropractic care, and optometry. All told, HealthLinc expects to be able to add 14,000 visits and 4,600 patients in 2026 thanks to their increased capacity. The new space will also allow them to reduce the amount of time it takes for new patients to see a provider. Read More
Currier Scholarship Awards Millionth Dollar
Donald Currier was raised in Mishawaka and was a proud graduate from Purdue's School of Mechanical Engineering in 1926. When he passed away in 1998, his wife Marion established the fund in order to help the next generation of engineers. Since then, the scholarship fund has awarded more than one million dollars to students, continuing the Currier legacy for decades to come. Read More
