Carolyn J. Peterson Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY:

• Be a resident of St. Joseph County, Indiana and be a graduate of South Bend Community School Corporation
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
• Intend to pursue a teaching degree through a full-time baccalaureate course of study at Indiana University South Bend
• Be a member of a class of students underrepresented in the teaching profession (e.g. African American or Hispanic/Latino)

AWARD:

• Up to $1,000 per year ($500 per full-time semester) for tuition and required fees. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years

NUMBER:

• Number of awards is based on funds available each year

DEADLINE:

• March 1 (includes submission of FAFSA)
