More Scholarship Opportunities

Most of our scholarship opportunities are available through our Universal Application. High school seniors and undergraduate students who fill out the application will be matched to any and all scholarships that they are qualified for.

Katie McCloskey Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship provides $3,500 per year for tuition and fees for a John Adams student who demonstrate involvement in athletics as a high school senior. Learn more. >>

The South Bend Medical Foundation “High School Heroes” Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is available to graduates from accredited high schools in Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Noble, Stark, Steuben, and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana and Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph Counties in Michigan who have donated at least three units of blood to The South Bend Medical Foundation during their high school career at either a school blood drive or at a fixed site location. Chas. W. Cole Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to local students who demonstrate financial need and rank below the top ten percent of their graduating high school class. Learn more. >>

Officer Paul R. Deguch Memorial Scholarship Fund
This $1,500 annual scholarship is available to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Indiana University South Bend. Learn more. >>

Coquillard Family Scholarship
This scholarship is available to graduates of St. Joseph County high schools enrolled at Ivy Tech State College, South Bend campus. Learn more. >>

Beaty Family Scholarship Fund

Bill and Diane Killilea Memorial Scholarship
This $2,000 annual scholarship is available to current sophomores at Marian High School who maintain a 3.0 GPA. Learn more. >>

Thomas H. Barry Memorial Scholarship
This one-time $1,500 award is available to Marian High School seniors who have demonstrated potential and aptitude in two or more areas within the Marian Fine Arts Department. Learn more. >>

Heather Anne Hammer Memorial Scholarship
This $1,200 annual scholarship is available to incoming Marian High School freshmen with a B average or better. Learn more. >>

Jack & Helen Benjamin Scholarship
This scholarship provides up to $1,000 per year for tuition and fees to a Mishawaka High School senior planning to to attend an accredited Indiana college or university and pursue a full-time course of study. Learn more. >>

Mishawaka Rotary Club Scholarship
This scholarship provides a $1,500 one-time award for tuition and fees for a graduating senior at Mishawaka High School. Learn more. >>

Spalding & Zirille Memorial Scholarship Fund
This $1,000 per year scholarship is awarded through the Mishawaka Senior Award Principal’s Committee. Learn more. >>

Buechner Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to current licensed teachers working in St. Joseph County, Indiana intending to pursue a full-time graduate course of study at IU South Bend in either the MSEd Unified Track Elementary and Secondary Education, or MSEd Education Leadership programs. Learn more. >>

Vince Peterson Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to underrepresented students enrolled in the Counseling and Human Services program as a degree candidate. Learn more. >>

Donald C. and Marion E. Currier Scholarship
This generous scholarship provides up to full tuition, required fees, an allowance for books, and on-campus housing or an off-campus living allowance for students at Purdue’s West Lafayette campus pursuing a full-time baccalaureate course of study in ANY engineering field, with the exception of Engineering Education. The Community Foundation of St. Joseph County has more than 80 scholarship funds, awarding close to a million dollars to local students each year. These scholarships assist students wishing to further their education goals through both financial scholarship awards and internship programs.
